The Thrill Of The Hunt League Of Legends World Championship 2023
Thousands of fans gathered at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to witness the opening ceremony for this year's League of Legends World Championships. As soon as the opening notes of 'We Will Rock You' by Queen rang out, a man dressed as a medieval knight came jousting onto the stage. He was followed by two more knights, who then battled each other using big sticks called lances and shields. They were joined by drummers who banged on drums to create an amazing rhythm and spectacle while they jousted with the sticks.
The Play In Stage
It's been a long time coming, but the League of Legends World Championship is finally upon us. And this year, the group stage has changed to the Play-In Stage. A total of twelve teams from different regions will battle it out for a spot in the next round, which will be played in Taiwan from October 1st to October 5th. One thing you should know about these teams is that only one team from each region can advance to the next round. Will your favorite team make it through? Or will we have some new Champions for all to enjoy? Find out this weekend.
The Group Stage
In the Group Stage, teams from all over the world compete to place top eight. Teams are seeded into four groups of three and play in a round-robin format. Each team will play every other team in their group once, for a total of six games.
Teams with one or more losses will have their tiebreaker determined by head-to-head record (3 points), game differential (+/-) (1 point), or whoever has the highest tournament seeding (-1 point). The first tiebreaker is used first, then the second if necessary, etc. If two teams have an equal record and tiebreakers can't break the tie, they are considered to be tied and will be seeded randomly in subsequent rounds.
The Knockout Stage
In the knockout stage, teams that have progressed past the Group Stage are pitted against one another in a single-elimination bracket. Teams will play until they lose twice, with the winners being determined by their number of wins. Games are played in a best-of-five series, with each team having to win three games in order for their opponent to be eliminated. The losers are out of the competition and must return home.
The Finals
It's been a long road, but the finals are finally here. Two teams, Samsung Galaxy and Royal Never Give Up, will battle it out for the crown at Worlds 2018. For Samsung Galaxy, it would be their first time to win Worlds. But for Royal Never Give Up, this is their second time to be in the finals. Will RNG take home another victory? Or will SSG have the honor of being crowned champions? Tune in this weekend to find out.
Conclusion
We don't know who will win this year, but we do know that it will be an amazing tournament to watch. If you are looking for a new game to play with friends, this is the perfect opportunity. And if you want to learn more about the game itself, check out the links above!

The New York City Marathon is one of the world's most famous marathons, and has been run every year since 1970. The race starts on Staten Island at 9:00 AM EST and travels through all five boroughs of New York before finishing in Central Park. This marathon has over 50,000 runners each year, with about a quarter coming from other countries.
Registration for the 2018 race opened on November 3rd, 2017 and will close on January 12th, 2018. Registration for this marathon costs $225 USD for US residents and $315 USD for non-US residents, which includes registration fees as well as a refundable $130 deposit.

The New York City Marathon is one of the most famous races in America. It's a 26.2-mile race that starts at 7:30am EST on Sunday, November 4th, 2018. You can watch the race live on television or stream it online if you don't have a TV where you're watching from. The marathon will be broadcast by NBC and will be available to livestream on their website.
You Can Also Stream the Race Online what time does the nyc marathon start

There Are a Few Ways to Get nyc marathonny marathon start time to the Starting Line
If you're a resident of New York, then you can simply head over to Staten Island for the start of the marathon. If not, there are a few ways to still get to the starting line. You can take a ferry or water taxi from Manhattan's Pier 11 and walk over, or take an Uber or Lyft car service that will pick you up at your location and drop you off at Staten Island. For those who don't want to drive themselves or have their vehicle near the starting area due to street closures, there's also an MTA train station nearby on Bay Street in Staten Island that is accessible by walking across Staten Island Railway Bridge (or taking a bike). The marathon also provides transportation options back into Manhattan if you need it after crossing the finish line.
There Will Be Plenty of Food and Drink Stations Along the Course
One of the most important things to know about marathon training is that you will be burning a lot of calories. You will need to drink lots of water and replenish your electrolytes with sports drinks like Gatorade. It's also important to eat protein-rich foods before and after your long runs. Another one of my favorite tips for successful marathon training is using an app like Run keeper or Map My Run to track your workouts, mileage, and time so that you can monitor your progress and stay motivated. The start time for the New York City Marathon is 8:30 am on Sunday November 4th, 2016.

The Arizona Wildcats Take On The UCLA Bruins Football Today
Tonight, the Arizona Wildcats take on the UCLA Bruins in Pauley Pavilion. The game starts at 7pm PST and will be televised on ESPN2.
This will be the first time these two teams have faced each other this season, but they played last year in a close game that was won by the Wildcats. In that game, star player Deandre Ayton had 27 points and 11 rebounds to lead them to victory.
It is not clear who will start at center for the Wildcats tonight, but it is likely that they will go with Dusan Ristic over Ayton who has a sore foot.
How to Watch
UCLA is a tough team that the Wildcats have been having trouble with recently, but they're still expected to win. If you're not in Tucson and can't make it to the game today, there are plenty of ways to watch the game.
1) Watch at a local restaurant or bar that's showing the game live on TV.
2) Watch online through ESPN3.
3) Listen on the radio through your local FM sports station.
4) Watch on Twitter via @ESPNU using #Arizona WBB and interact with other fans!
5) Keep an eye out for updates on @Arizona Wildcats, which will be tweeting live from this evening's game against UCLA!
Key Players to Watch
Freshman Aaron Gordon is the team's leading scorer and rebounder with an average of 16.7 points and 9.6 rebounds a game. Gordon is expected to have a breakout year, especially after his 15-point performance against Duke earlier this season.
-Senior Nick Johnson has been one of the most consistent players for the Wildcats on both ends of the floor, averaging 14 points and 5 assists per game this season. In his last nine games, Johnson has scored at least 10 points in every contest but one (he had two points against Cal).
What's at Stake
This Saturday, the Arizona Wildcats will face off against the UCLA Bruins for the first time this season. This game is a crucial matchup for both teams, as the winner will take first place in their conference. With only two games left before Pac-12 Conference play begins, this game is a must-win for both teams if they want to make it to March Madness. It will be interesting to see if either team has what it takes to make it through this tough conference and make it to the NCAA tournament.
Final Thoughts
Arizona is ranked number 10 in the nation and has been on a hot streak as of late. With a big win against USC last week, the Wildcats are looking to keep their momentum going in today's game against UCLA. It's also senior night for players like T.J. McConnell and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, so it should be an emotional night at McKale Center. Let's hope they go out with a bang!
